Finishing up the NMM

Okay, we got to get the final part of this nonmetal metallic finished up so I can start on the colors and and everybody’s got me finished. I got to finish them all tomorrow pretty much. So, let’s let’s get this going. Um, I’m now I’m just going to come in now with some actual pure white because you can see like these just this like very want to be very sparing with this because this is going to be like that final glint, the final highlight on things. And I’m using this pretty bright light just to see where where it’s catching. And there it goes. Okay, there’s our Let’s see. Can you actually see it on this guy? There we go. Very happy with how this revolver is turning out. Oh god, don’t drop him right now. Hold looks very cool. All right, that’s this guy. So, I’m going to do that on all the models. It’s going to be a fast one tonight probably. So, I’ll be back because I’m coming in uh on this and these little little portions of white are what really sell this as being a metal model. Like, I’m really happy with how this is turning out. Um, and I’ve done a lot of the other models already. So, just coming in. And it’s like seriously just a little bit of dots here. Just a little bit on the knee pads. A little bit on here. And it’s really just like selling that metallic effect. And I definitely have more of like you can see my brush strokes and my painterly style. That’s just like how I like to paint. Uh I’m really happy with it. Like chedd out chair. So um moving on. Moving on. We’ll do this guy live. We’ll do this guy live. Um I’ve done almost everybody else now. Finishing up. Actually, let me finish this guy. I just saw a couple of spots right here. So, this gu is pretty bright on this arm, but I want to just get just a little bit more in here cuz he’s like a much brighter steel. And it’ll look once I get all the primer off, I think it’ll really make all these metal parts or like once not off, but once I get all the primer like painted and finished. So, we’ll just do just one little glint right there. Then like a edge highlight on the legs and feet here. Sure. I get a lot of that paint off. Just glazing this on. And I’m not going to put any white on the on the robe cuz that would look a little bit silly. But I do want a little bit of a glaze right here of it. And we’re definitely going to need some here. I think this guy especially is going to look crazy once I once I get the actual color on him. This guy has turned out really good. So, I’m just picking out the very tips of these raised portions. They’re going to like catch the eye. Think it right here. Yeah. Like it’s crazy. I feel like on that arm I really It’s hard to get the hang of it. This is a cool model to paint. All right. So that’s that guy. Who is next? This is the last model I got to do. I’ve done everybody else. Just the guns on here. Let’s close this boy or this this one out. Um, and this barrel was super bright. So, I’m just gonna hit that. Um, and then put like a edge highlight here on this top thing. Just a little bit here. A little bit there. a little bit towards the back of this. Is there like tabletop? It’s going to look like a shimmer. And now this is the one. This is like a very chrome. Actually, I don’t think this is this. Yeah, this was a chrome one. Um, I’m very happy with how these guns are turning out, too. Especially for the first time I’ve tried painting like this. It’s only going to get better from here. And it’s already pretty good. Cool. All right. So, there’s that. Uh oh, yeah. One more. Almost didn’t see this one hiding back here. Very happy with how this is turning out. And we just I just want to put a little bit more uh little bit more maybe like here there. Definitely. So, a little bit more on this little handgun here. Just want to be very gentle with this. And I’m really I’m just picking out these very hard edges right here. Very carefully, very very carefully. I don’t want to blow it after spending the last three days on the nonmetal metallic just cuz I knew like it would be the part that’s going to really stand out. Boom. Look at that gun. That That’s the best gun I’ve ever painted. All right. Well, what’s next? I got a whole lot more painting to do on these guys. Oh, yeah. This guy right here. I thought I was done, but or actually a lot more. I guess I only painted a few guys off camera, I guess. So, my my plan is we’ll get these guys right here finished. Oh, I mean, I meant to get the nominal metallic finished. Boom. There it is. All right. So, with that, nominal metallic on all these guys is done. Show you this guy. This guy’s really cool, too. Uh, happy with that. Very happy with that guy. Uh, painted this guy. Uh, painted her. No, you can see her gun. I think I did this one. I need to fix that part right there. That is a little bit too Oh. Whoa. Too much water on my brush. Oh my goodness. This is why you shouldn’t paint. Tired. That’s okay. Uh so I This is the good thing about Wet palette is it’s very easy. Just going to get a little bit darker right there and glaze it. There we go. That’ll do. That’ll do. Pig. Uh, I did this guy. I did this guy off camera. Very happy with him. I think like he looks he look he’s going to look way cooler once I get the color on him. Um, I feel like maybe just a little bit more a little bit more highlighting like mid tones in here. I don’t know. I don’t want to overwork it, but there’s like a like all of this like he looks so cool. The more I look at these, the more I like them. This guy This guy’s leather. I got I was trying something with the leather, but I’m going to have to fix that. But I love his guns. And then chrome chair girl robotic arm. Maybe I need to go a little bit one one more white pass here. Just a final. Oh yeah. That’s what I’m talking about. That’s what I needed. All right. She’s going to be freaking good. I don’t know. I This is This is the most nominal talk I’ve ever painted in one go. And I tried it a different way than I usually would do it. And I’m pretty happy with the results. Um if you’re curious about the coffee cup, uh I wanted it to look more like sand and I dirtied it up a little bit and I painted a highlight on the edge rim. Uh but this is I do not like the texture I used. So, I’m probably I’m going to cover that up with some grass probably. But that’s coming along. Um I don’t know. I think I think I think it might be time for bed cuz I can’t even keep my eyes open. But this was this was a long two long nights of painting. And tomorrow I really I just need to come in and and bang out the colors. Colors I think will be fast for me because I’m going to heavily rely on the zenithol now. And uh I don’t know. I’m very tired.
