Coffee Cup Part 1

What’s up, guys? I’m hoping my monster friends ships eventually. Uh, I think it was supposed to ship Wednesday, but it hasn’t actually shipped yet. But I’m getting excited to play. Hopefully, it comes next week.

I want to make an energy tracker. Uh, and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, I’ll put a link in the description below. But I 3D printed a coffee cup, uh, like a travel size coffee cup or whatever. Uh, and then I have this counter. And my plan is to put it on the counter like this.

All right, step one, diorama effects. Uh, this is thick mud. I’m going to paint this probably. Uh, get our super glue and eyeball this. And it’s going to look sketchy for a second because, and this is an old X-Acto knife.

I want this actually glued into the base, you know. Uh but boom. All right. So, uh so, as I’m sure many of you are thinking, I ended up having to pin it. So, now that thing is in there for good.

Uh I have base textured the rest of it. Going to let this dry and then get it. All right. We’re ping back black. I’m going to come up from the bottom with weathered wood.

Uh I just grabbed a gray. Trying to get rid of my paints so I can trim down. uh and try out new ones. So, this had this one for a while. I loved it.

It’s a really good paint, but it’s time for it to go. And I’m almost at the bottom of the bottle. So, I’m coming in from the bottom with this cuz I mean, this is going to be white. And I desperately need to clean this brush out. So, it’s going to speckle, but that’s okay cuz we’re just trying to like kind of pre-shade.

I don’t want to spend a ton of time on this, especially with all the other stuff we got to paint. And the lid’s going to be black, but I’m going to come back in and and actually paint it black. So, hitting all of it with this gray, especially the bottom. I’m focusing on the bottom. Uh cuz I’m going to hit the top with a white, an actual white.

So, I just I wanted the white to be bright, but I want this bottom’s going to essentially be done. I want the white to be done. I’m not going to hit it with actual white. All right. Now, coming in with some actual white.

And there’s some pink to it. I think it’s just it’s just the reflection. And there’s not actual pink and it’s just reflecting pink off the the white. All right. So, there’s our white done super fast.
