The Ministry of Gentlemanly Warfare is a game-writing and publishing partnership owned by Craig Cartmell and Charles Murton. The two started writing together when Osprey commissioned In Her Majesty’s Name, their narrative skirmish series.
Since then the Ministry has published Blood Eagle, its Dark Ages skirmish game, along with Daishō, set in mythical Japan, the Victorian horror supplement IHMN Gothic, and the fantasy game Thud & Blunder. Blood Eagle, Daishō and In Her Majesty’s Name share one core engine. The Ministry’s blog keeps a large stock of free material for all of them.
