Craig Cartmell
Designer
Co-founder of the Ministry of Gentlemanly Warfare and co-writer of In Her Majesty's Name and Blood Eagle. Also wrote FUBAR and In the Emperor's Name.
Craig Cartmell has been gaming since the mid-1970s and writing his own rules for about thirty years. His first successes were FUBAR, one-page rules for small unit actions, and In the Emperor’s Name, a skirmish game for Warhammer 40K. That second one brought Osprey to him with the offer to write steampunk rules, which became In Her Majesty’s Name.
He now co-owns The Ministry of Gentlemanly Warfare with Charles Murton, and the two wrote Blood Eagle, its Dark Ages skirmish game. He lives in rural Wales.
