Oathsworn Miniatures
Two-person miniatures studio in the North East of England, run by Michael and Jo Lovejoy. Makes the Burrows & Badgers range and writes the game.
Oathsworn Miniatures was started in 2013 by professional sculptors Michael Lovejoy and Jo Lovejoy. It’s just the two of them, and between them they do everything, “whether that’s casting stock, sorting and prepping minis, processing and packing orders, writing rules, answering questions, sculpting new models.”
Their first range was dwarfs, on Kickstarter. The anthropomorphic animals came next, launched on Kickstarter in 2015, and players wanted a game to use them in. That became Burrows & Badgers, published by Osprey Games in 2018 with a second edition in 2025. The range is past 200 miniatures, cast in metal, with the biggest beasts in resin.
Oathsworn still uses Kickstarter to fund new sculpts. Burrows & Badgers: Reinforcements ran in late August 2026 and funded in under four minutes.
