Game designer behind DreadBall, Mantic Games' sci-fi sports game, and co-writer of the first edition of Deadzone.

Jake Thornton designed DreadBall for Mantic Games. It went to Kickstarter in September 2012, when ICv2 noted he had “almost thirty years of experience in the game industry.” The Second Edition rulebook still credits it as “based on an original design by Jake Thornton.”

He also wrote the first edition of Deadzone with Guy Haley.
