Just finished David Lindsay’s A Voyage to Arcturus and it’s instantly one of my new favorites. I read it on my own first, which I think is the right way to go in for a book this strange. It does most of its work in your head before anyone explains it to you.
Going Back In With a Read-Along
After I finished, I found this playlist doing a cover-to-cover read-through with literary analysis along the way. I’m working through it now as a second pass. There’s so much going on under the surface that having someone walk through the philosophy chapter by chapter has been a great way to revisit it.
