Georgia miniatures studio behind Malifaux, the gothic horror skirmish game played with a Fate Deck instead of dice. Founded in 2005.

Wyrd Miniatures, who trade as Wyrd Games, say they were “founded in 2005 in order to provide high quality miniatures for painters who were looking for something different.” They’re based in Marietta, Georgia.

Their flagship is Malifaux, the skirmish game that came out in 2009 and is now on its Fourth Edition, released in 2025. It uses a Fate Deck of cards instead of dice, and the full rules are a free download.

Wyrd also makes The Other Side, Through the Breach, Vagrantsong, and Bayou Bash. Its catalogue has also included Evil Baby Orphanage and Puppet Wars.
