Goblin King Games

The studio behind Moonstone, the card-driven fantasy skirmish game that won Best Miniatures Range and Best Miniatures Rules at UK Games Expo 2023.

Goblin King Games makes Moonstone, a fantasy skirmish game set on the fairytale isle of Tauber. It sells the resin miniatures, the rulebook and card decks through its own shop, and puts the core rules and every character card up as free downloads.

At UK Games Expo 2023, Moonstone won both the Judges’ Choice and the People’s Choice awards for Best Miniatures Range and Best Miniatures Rules.

The studio also runs the Goblin Scheme, a volunteer program for players who run demo days and tournaments at their local store or club, and supports organised play through Longshanks.

Games

Painted Moonstone miniatures on a grassy, cobbled table beside stone buildings: a pug-riding knight with a banner, a mushroom-hatted goblin, a hulking troll, a huge bald giant and a fencer in a plumed hat, with white four-sided dice marking moonstones

Moonstone

Goblin King Games' whimsical fantasy skirmish game for 2 to 4 players. Troupes of fairytale characters race to dig up moonstones before dawn, with melee and magic settled by cards and bluffing instead of dice.
