GCT Studios

The studio behind Bushido, the fantasy skirmish game set in the Jwar Isles, a world drawn from Japanese and East Asian myth.

GCT Studios makes Bushido, a two-player fantasy skirmish game set in the Jwar Isles. It sells the miniatures, faction starter sets and the printed Risen Sun rulebook through its own shop, and puts the full rules, errata, reference sheets and tournament pack up as free downloads.

The studio stays close to its players. Its developers post on the official Discord, playtesters called Retainers test new profiles, and winners of the Grand Masters tournament have helped design new models.

Bushido key art: the red and black Bushido logo in the centre, flanked by painted warriors. On the left a samurai lord, a young swordswoman and a feathered figure; on the right a snarling grey dragon, a horned red oni and a girl with glowing blue eyes.
