Game designer. Wrote Here's the Ruckus, the medieval skirmish game from Wargames Illustrated, and its Crusades follow-up, Assassins and Templars.

Mike Peters designed Here’s the Ruckus, published free with Wargames Illustrated issue 437 by Wargames Illustrated. It started as an idea for downsizing Never Mind the Billhooks, and he playtested it at Bristol Independent Gaming and Bristol Wargaming Society before release.

His follow-up, Assassins and Templars: A Ruckus Game, uses the same rules engine for skirmishes set during the Crusades.

Here's the Ruckus

Mike Peters' medieval skirmish game from Wargames Illustrated. Twelve figures a side, card-driven activation, and narrative games set in the Wars of the Roses. Inspired by Never Mind the Billhooks, but standalone.
