Matthew Sutton-O’Connor created and wrote Brethren, a 28mm skirmish game for the Ancient and Dark Age eras. The first books went on sale in April 2024. A Revised Edition followed in April 2026.

He designs it to fit a tight schedule. On the game’s site he writes, “Like many others I struggle to get opponents and games in while juggling everything else in life.”
