Joseph A. McCullough designed Frostgrave, the wizard warband game published by Osprey Games, and built a family of games on the same d20 engine. That family includes Frostgrave: Ghost Archipelago, Stargrave, Oathmark, and The Silver Bayonet.
He also designed Rangers of Shadow Deep, a solo and co-op adventure game he self-published in 2018. Modiphius now publishes the core book, and he still self-publishes most of its missions. His other games include Deathship One, Operation: Last Train, and Hairfoot Jousting.
