The Gloam One-Page Adventure Jam Is Stacked
The Lone Legend's folk-fantasy tarot RPG Gloam just wrapped a one-page adventure jam, and the community turned out a dozen free scenarios.
If you haven’t come across it yet, Gloam is a folk-fantasy TTRPG by The Lone Legend that ditches dice entirely in favour of a single deck of tarot cards. Oracle resolution, tactical combat, and even its word-combination magic system all run through the deck, alongside a streamlined lifepath system for character creation.
To celebrate, The Lone Legend ran a One-Page Adventure Jam, inviting the community to build one sized Gloam scenarios and share them for free on itch.io. The response was a dozen entries covering everything from fae mischief to haunted crypts. If you own Gloam (or just want to see what people are building with it), every one of these is free to grab:
- Dost Thou Know Why the Willow Weeps by SilverNightingale
- Stygian Weald by WatcherDM
- The Ballad of Clangor by Noble Gnoll
- The Auld Kirk by nemyisrelapse
- Beware the Wild Rushes (WIP) by noseatbelts
- A Paladin’s Lament by ozthearistocrat
- The Plea of Oberon by Quest for Quests
- The Ruined Crypt by Orestan
- The Lord of Glen-Castle by The Lone Legend
- The Long Road by oakley
- Come With Me O’er the Mountain by OneTorch
- Gloaming Wood by E Rathke
Twelve free one-page adventures for a single system is a great haul, and a good chunk of these look solo-friendly at a glance. I’ll be picking a few to run through myself. Expect a full write-up here.
