Why are 3d sculpted models so overly detailed?

What’s up everybody? Today, uh I’m just building the last bit of models I need to have built for like some personal projects and the commissions. So, uh nothing too too cool to show there. And I’m trying I’m trying to even just figure out how to paint some of the stuff on this model cuz come here. Look at this this model. So, like these guys, if you don’t know anything about War Machine, they’re meant this guy this these people specifically are meant to die. Like there’s like going to be like five to 10 of them, which War Machine is a pretty big unit. uh two units of five probably or one unit of five. They’re probably going to be dead by turn two or three. You know, they’re not they’re not they’re meant to just be put on the board. They’re meant to die so I don’t think they don’t die. Look at all those ridges and all those details. The back is crazy. And and the same like these guys pretty much have the same armor. I can’t even tell or I couldn’t even tell if this leg, the thigh was armor or fabric. I think it’s fabric wraps. And then the same thing like up underneath there in the torso. It’s the same kind of wrap thing. So, I figured that out, but like the official model isn’t even painted. Like, they don’t have the official model on the store or in the app painted. And that tells me that like even their model painters are like, “I’m not painting. I’m not painting 10 of those guys.” Why? Why? Why is like 3D printed models got to take a step and say like just because we can uh I spent I spent like literally 30 minutes tonight trying to figure out what parts of this model even were to figure out how to paint them. And that’s kind of all like the actual paint time I had tonight. But uh I’m just going to I got a lot of stuff built today, but uh my paint time was spent just getting mad trying to figure out what the parts of this model was to paint and like why why are we doing this people? Wait, it’s unnecessary. This is a cheesy one. But uh got to go to sleep. I think I got a little bit too much done today. See you tomorrow.
