What’s up, guys? Day one of the Infernals Diary. If you don’t know me, my name is Matt from the Hobbinomicon. I do a daily vlog where I paint, hobby, and do otherwise tabletop gaming related things every day. We’re going to start my personal journey of starting Infernals—learning how to play them, learning how to get good, and of course, painting them. This is day one. They’re fresh off the 3D printer from the recent Tribes. Let’s get into it.

I’ve had these really cool plastic insert bases. They came in a used lot that I bought. Nothing was attached and I didn’t really know what to do with them because I was afraid that if I started using them, I would run out and not be able to find them anywhere. I’m sure with a quick Google I could find them, but it looks like I have just enough to base everything I would need to base.

Let’s get everything attached because even though I’ve got to get learning how to play them ASAP—I have an event at the end of April that I got to get into—I don’t know how to play them at all. I know how to play Warmachine, but I don’t know how to play Infernals. So I’ve got to get them based so I can start playing immediately.

I just got everything based and I realized one of the solos misprinted and one of the claws on the 120mm guy misprinted. So got those sliced up and also going to throw a Solar House on there. Get those ready for tomorrow.

Everybody’s based now. I want to make a 30-point list and just do one 30-point game so I can get an idea of Agathon’s control range, get an idea of essence and the core way the game plays as an Infernal Master. I’ve got 30 points: Agathon, two Arknote Horrors, Ellis Scarity, the spell slave dude, Hermit Cultist in the back, and then these guys in the front who are frontline tough troop guys—just to get a hang of essence and how it works.
